The new Summit Series VECTIV™ Pro and Summit Series VECTIV™ Sky join the VECTIV family as the most innovative pair of trail running shoes from The North Face. Perfect for race day, these highly cushioned styles come equipped with The North Face’s new foam technology and VECTIV™ 2.0 carbon-fibre plates to offer optimised stability, enhanced cushioning, and updated fits for comfort, propulsion, stability and traction on the trail.

So what makes them great? Let’s have a look!

How do you make the most advanced footwear technology even more stable, comfortable and efficient? VECTIV™ 2.0 features three key updates, each designed to deliver improved on-trail performance.

3D carbon footplate

Redesigned to deliver propulsion with greater stability on rough terrain, the advanced VECTIV™ 2.0 footplate features a forked construction not just at the front but also at the rear for improved lateral displacement. The Summit VECTIV™ Pro also features forefoot wings to secure the foot in place.

Responsive foams

Shoes tailored to your local trails. Each shoe in the VECTIV™ 2.0 family features a performance rocker-midsole made with durable EVA foam or a combination of super critical foam and EVA foam. The Summit VECTIV™ Pro features an ultralight proprietary blend that balances durability with high rebound and enhanced cushioning.

Traction outsole

Made with a hard-wearing rubber compound, the SurfaceCTRL™ outsole guarantees reliable grip all surfaces with angled 3.5mm lugs for traction on tough terrain. For traction on particularly wet and soft ground, the VECTIV™ Infinite II features 5mm lugs to help maintain momentum.

For any trail, any time.

Power your runs with maximum efficiency, stability and comfort. From ultra races to your local trail, day hikes to overnight treks, VECTIV™ technology is engineered for every foot and every trail. VECTIV™ 2.0 is available in a number of shoes including
