The LAW100 is a non-stop winter 100-mile event. LAW100 is a 100 mile event inspired by the Lady Anne’s Way Organised by Due North Events.

Lady Anne Clifford was the last member of one of England’s great mediaeval dynasties, and became something of a legend in her own lifetime. Lady Anne was a Noblewoman and restorer of castles, and fought a 40-year battle for her right to inherit her father’s estates. Lady Anne devoted herself to restoring and enhancing the castles and churches on her lands, stretching from Skipton to Penrith.

The route is partially marked by Public Rights of Way finger posts with the Lion symbol of the Lady Anne Way, which follows established rights of way. A GPX file will be available. An excellent guide book is readily available : https://www.ladyannesway.co.uk/guide-book

There will be four main checkpoints, plus intermittent checkpoints with water. These ‘intermittent’ CP’s may simply be a water supply left un-staffed. So you should be self sufficient otherwise between the main CP’s. If you’ve done a Due North Event you will be aware of the excellent checkpoint food, friendly service and all round quality.

You will carry a tracker provided by our friends at Open Tracking with their excellent back-up aiding our safety systems.

Due North adopt an eco-approach and the Settle-Carlisle railway line will help with return transport and with recce prep runs.
