The Canalathon Ultra is an excellent option for those who want a flat route for their first ultra. Our races power along the Rochdale Canal from Sowerby Bridge, Yorkshire to Manchester then back to Sowerby Bridge passing through historic industrial towns and stunning Pennine landscapes whilst visiting checkpoints on the way.
Great for the body and soul, its an opportunity to record fast times on this scenic, super-flat course.
No navigation needed, no hill climbing necessary, just worry about getting from point ‘A to B’.
We keep our event small but perfectly formed by limiting entry. Add in the medals, treats and you’ve got the friendliest lil’ Ultra around.
