The Big 4 Rounds at 40 – Ross Jenkin

Conquering England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales Ross Jenkin became the first person to complete a continuous traverse of all four of the national 24-hour mountain challenges.

First up and kicking off the challenge was the Paddy Buckley Round.  Ross fought his way through the dark memories that the Welsh fells had delivered him the year prior. Going back to the mountains having grown from past mistakes, Ross came away victorious, leaving the tainted memories behind him once and for all, before moving across the waters to take on the Denis Rankin Round in Northern Ireland.

Resting during travel legs only, Ross continued his battle with 152 summits, 387km and 31,800m of ascent (total) in Scotland on the Charlie Ramsay Round, before heading home to the Lake District for a grand finale on the Bob Graham Round.
