Rhys Jenkins, Race Director at Wildhorse 200, dreamed of showcasing the beauty of Wales to the world. Now, he has created three 200-mile races to do just that.

During the forever-lasting lockdowns in the United Kingdom during 2020 and 2021, Rhys was left with a lot of time for his mind to wander, or in his case, run.

“The Covid pandemic allowed us to reassess what we really wanted to achieve. It gave me the opportunity to dream. “

“I headed out on a run one day and by the time I made it back home, I decided I wanted to organise a 200-mile race that shouts about the wonders of Wales. I wanted to push peoples limits and encourage them to dream of bigger distances,” Rhys said.
