The INOV8 Performance Hybrid Jacket is one of those pieces that will quickly become a staple in your running attire. This lightweight waterproof jacket has become my favourite to wear through the rainy winter months, and I cannot recommend it enough.
The INOV8 Performance Hybrid Jacket comes in men’s and women’s sizes and is an excellent option for waterproofing and warmth. I found the jacket to be light and comfortable. It has sections of fleece across the inner back, hood and bicep areas, which add another layer against the sometimes harsh British weather.
I had to get used to this fleece, though, as I originally wore a thicker base layer. However, I was far too hot in one case. I used a thinner base layer and a long-sleeved T-shirt under the jacket during one race. It was comfortable, and I didn’t feel like I needed to keep whipping it on and off. I could unzip the top of the jacket and get air around my neck, but I zipped up; I was warm.
