Dougie Zinis – Double Bob Graham Round FKT!
Calder Valley Fell Runner Dougie Zinis set a new record on the Double Bob Graham Round, completing the Lake Districts most renowned fell running challenge with a time of 45 hours and 3 minutes.
Dougie snatched the record from the previous holder Nicky Spinks, who completed the Double Round in 2006 with a time of 45 hours and 30 minutes, becoming the first female to complete the route in under 48 hours!
In 2019, Dougie took on the Bob Graham (single round) and completed the challenge in 20 hours and 27 minutes! Later, a friend would send Dougie a video of Nicky’s (2006) attempt and once the seed had been planted there was no turning back!
