Courtney Dauwalter 2021 UTMB new course record!

22 hours, 30 minutes, and 54 seconds!

Returning to the French Alps to compete in her second Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB) and defend her title, 36-year-old ultra-athlete, Courtney Dauwalter, completed the 106-mile race in Chamonix, France in just 22 hours, 30 minutes, and 54 seconds!

Not only smashing 2 hours off her previous course best but also setting a new record to become the UTMB 2021 Champion!

Finishing 7th overall, Dauwalter confided after the race “I didn’t know what to expect from the race, but I knew that I was lining up healthy and physically and mentally ready as I could be”. (Trail Running Magazine)

The Colorado Ultrarunner was forced to DNF 62 miles into the Hardrock 100 back in July due to stomach issues so the UTMB offered Dauwalter a shot at redemption!
