Test and Review of the Badwater Lip Balm – Sarah Woodiwiss

I am a lip balm girl I use them all day and especially when i’m out on the trail and at the gym so I felt the perfect candidate to trial the Badwater lip balm on behalf of myRaceKit who are the sole European retailer of the balm.

“It’s packaging is neat and easy to pop into my ultra-vest or a pocket when i’m on the go or at the gym.

The balm is a roll up product which means its easy to use and get access to. Particularly good when your hands are cold or wet on the trail. The balm goes on easily even when the temperatures are cold giving you a quick slick of lip balm then off you go.”

I loved the way it felt not clumps of product and it lasted a good few hours before needing reapplying.

I also tested the product in Wales on a recent road trip it stood up to a windy coastal hike and also during a windy and hilly trail run without a problem. I tested the balm with a light shimmer called Desert Shimmer which brought a touch of glamour to my ultra kit.

The balm is available is three flavours – Mountain Mint, Desert Shimmer and Montana Huckleberry.

“I loved the fact that the ingredients in the balm are organic and contains a SPF 15 sunscreen protection which is ideal to protect us during those mountain ultras and sunny days.   I’ve continued to use this product past the test time and will definitely buy another after this one finishes so would definitely recommend popping one in your ultra bag.”
